Red Carpet Dream!

Here we are.  It's the moment every high school girl dream about- Prom Night.  It's the one night of the year when you can pamper yourself and dress up like a princess.  Every time the prom season comes around, I always find myself going to the mall just to look at the beautiful dresses and imagining myself in them.  For celebrities, dressing up in a fancy gown isn't really that big of a deal, but for normal girls, it’s awesome.  This week, I chose Carrie Underwood to be my celebrity because I love all of her gowns and she always looks gorgeous in them.  Now trying to find a dress that doesn't break the bank is extremely hard so I Googled half price dresses and a site popped up called dresssale.com.  This is where I am shopping this week and I will probably have to go to another store for a pair of shoes.  Let's find the dress of your dreams.

 At dresssale.com, there are so many different dresses that it can kind of overwhelm you.  Because this is CHEAP, cute, celeb outfits, I started by clicking on prices low to high.  This just puts the dressing in order from lowest price to highest price and it works so well!   I found the most beautiful gown that I could ever think of.  It is the purple gown to the right and I just fell in love with it.  I love the color and the different layers in it.  This dress is only $90.99 which seems like a lot, but really for a prom dress, it's pretty dang cheap.  Then I went to macys.com and went to the sale section to find a pair of shoes.  I found a pair of dark silver with sparkly rhinestones on a bow and thought that they would look perfect with the dress.  These shoes are only $16.68!!!! The total of this prom outfit is $107.67 which is a very good deal.  The key when shopping for a prom dress is to find a dress that YOU like and then find the accessories you need on sale.  I hope this blog has helped you learn to bargain shop and that you can find cute outfits that look like a celebrity's.  Adios mis amigos!

Date Night!!!

Hey hey it’s me again.  Welcome to post numero 7 of Cheap, Cute, Celeb Outfits.  This week, I decided that I was going to do a post on what to wear on a date.  You obviously want to look cute, but you don't want to make it look like you tried too hard so here's the deal- just look comfortable and cute and the date will be as smooth as butter.  This week, Emma Watson is going to be my celebrity.  Now even though in the picture to the left she isn't on a date, I still think that her outfit is cute and it looks comfortable so that's what I'm looking for.  She is wearing white jeans and a gray blouse which makes it appear that she is comfortable but the outfit is also cute.  I'm headed to dELiA*s this week and I am going to challenge myself.  I am only going to get things that are in the clearance section!  Well, here goes nothing.

First, I am going to look for some jeans.  There are a ton of options so feel free to choose whatever pair you want.  I am going with the gray skinny jeans because they look cute and gray is an easy color to go with.  These jeans cost $19.99. Now I want to look for a shirt.  I found this super cute tank top that has pink and blue flowers on it and is $14.99.  Finally I need to find some shoes.  So I go to the shoe section of the clearance rack and find these cute yellow sandals.  You might be thinking, hey, yellow shoes don't match with a tank top that has pink flowers, but I personally like them together because they brighten the outfit. The shoes are $19.99 so the total of the whole outfit it $54.97.  With this outfit, your date will go awesomely!  Thanks and see you soon!

Comfy Day :)

Aloha friends!  Welcome back to another post on Cheap, Cute, Celeb Outfits!  This week’s outfit is comfy clothes because everyone has those days when they just don't want to get dress up and just want to wear sweats.  I totally know how that is so I am going to find a cute outfit and is comfy and will make you want to snuggle up with a book and hot chocolate.  The celebrity this week is Hillary Duff, yeah remember her?  I am still a huge fan of hers and I love her movies and now her books!  In the picture to the right she is wearing just a simple gray t-shirt and gray sweatpants.  For the store this week, it is going to be a little different.  I am going to be shopping at Scheels and at Sports Authority.  The reason I am going this is because both are really great stores and I love both of their clothing so I thought I could combine them.  Let's get going!

At Scheels, I was looking for a warm and comfy sweatshirt and I remembered that they have Columbia jackets for pretty decent prices.  I found the yellow Columbia to the left for $21.99 and it comes in yellow, light purple, raspberry, black, hot pink, and blue.  Then I went to Sports Authority and looked for a tank top to go under the Columbia and found a white one for $7.99.  Finally I looked for yoga pants and found a pair with a pink waist band (which would look perfect with the hot pink Columbia) for $14.99.  The total of this outfit is $44.97 which may seem a lot for a comfy outfit, but you can also separate them and wear them for other events like going to yoga class or using the Columbia for a hockey game.  The possibilities of clothing uses never run out- you just have to think outside the box.  Thanks for tuning in and we will see you next time!!

Swim Wear

Welcome back!!!! Even though it's only November, people are already starting to think of where to go for spring break.  Whether it is Mexico or Florida, you always want to look cute when you go down to the beach or to the pool.  Well this week, I am going on a search for a cute swimsuit, cover up, and flip flops to wear when you are raking in those golden rays.  This week’s celebrity is Nina Dobrev, the star of Vampire Diaries.  In the picture to the left, she is wearing a pink and white bikini and a purple tank top over it.  She always looks cute and comfortable in her swimsuit so that is what I am looking for this post.  I'm going online shopping at Kohl’s this week because even though they don't have the swimsuits in store, they always have them online.  Whether you wear a bikini or a tankini, Kohl’s has every option and they have the brightest colors.  Here we go!

Once you get to Kohls.com, you just click on women’s and go down to swim and it brings you to a page dedicated just to swimwear and swim accessories.  The first swimsuit I found was a white, orange, peach, and yellow bikini.  I love the colors and it brings out the color in your skin.  Now, if you don't like bikinis, you can always go for a tankini.  The one I found was black and it had a flower and  orange, pink, and white stripes across it.  Both of these swimsuits are $19.99 and you can mix and match the different tops and bottoms.  After finding the swimsuits I thought, "Maybe I should find a cover up to wear down to the beach/ pool."  So that is exactly what I did.  I found a white cover up for $21.00.  Finally, to top it off, you have to get some cute flip- flops.  Kohl’s has a bunch of different kinds for only $2.50!!! How great is that?  For one of the swimsuits, the cover up, and the flip-flops, the total is $43.49 and it will get you through a fun vacation.  See you next time!!!

Morning Workout

           Hello hello hello!!! We are getting into the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas and I don't know about you, but I always eat wayyyy to much!  It's a fact, when such delicious food is in front of you; all you want to do is keep eating it.  Working out is a fun and awesome way to keep in really good shape.  That is why I decided to write a post on cute workout clothes!  Some people may think, why look cute if you are just going to be all sweaty anyway.  But think about it; if you see a cute guy at the fitness center, do you want to look cute or do you want to look gross?  That's a tough one... NOT.  This week I'm going shopping at JCPenny!!!

            Now again, you could either go online or go to the actual store.  Gotta love online shopping.  So I went online and now it's time to shop.  First, I looked for a tank top.  I found a tight, yellow tank top that is $11.99.  I love this tank top because the color makes me so much happier!  Of course they're other options online and in the store.  Then, I started looking for a pair of pants.  I found a pair that matched the yellow tank top so I totally went for those.  They are $17.99 and once again just brighten up everything in the room.  You can just wear a pair of old tennis shoes or even your favorite pair because that's all you need.  The total for this outfit is $29.98.  If you have a cute outfit, maybe you can feel more comfortable and motivated to work out.  Well until next time, never stop looking for that bargain!

Summer Lovin'

Bonjour my friends!  Now, I'm sure right about now everyone is thinking the same thing: I wish summer would just come back already!!!  I know I am.  I've been thinking that I should do a post on summer clothes just to keep the warm thoughts in my head which brings me to this post's subject.... SUMMER DRESSES!!!  For this, I chose Selena Gomez as my celebrity because she wears cute summer dresses and I have always wanted one.  The picture to the right shows Selena in a periwinkle summer dress and a pair of black boots. My destination this week is, drum roll please........... TARGET!!!  Seriously, Target literally has everything I could possibly dream of. I LOVE IT!!! Now, you can always just go to the Target near you since they seem to be everywhere, but for this post I'm going online shopping at target.com.  Here we go!!!

If you go to target.com, you will see different categories at the top of the page saying women, men, kid at so on.  If you go to women, a tab pops up and there are sub-categories that say accessories, shoes, and clothes.  Just click on clothes and it will take you to a wonderland.  There are so many options in this section, but I just clicked on dresses to try to find a cute sundress.  Sure enough I found one that looks very similar to the dress Selena has on.  It can be found in different colors but I personally like the light blue one the best.  This dress is $24.99.  Then you have to find shoes to go with it.  I found the most adorable wedges.  The wedges to the left are just $9.44 and can pretty much be worn with any summer outfit.  The total of this outfit is $34.43.  This outfit is perfect for a summer get together and is absolutely adorable.  See you next time!

Skirt Fetish!!!

                Welcome back clothes lovers!!! Our celebrity this post is going to be Taylor Swift!!!!! Taylor Swift always has the cutest clothes and the outfit to the left is just adorable.  She is wearing just a simple, black t-shirt, a white skirt with a black design, and a long, chain necklace with a cool decoration at the bottom.  The outfit looks comfortable but still cute, and Taylor looks comfortable in it as well.  After I found this picture, I was thinking of where to go shopping this week and thought of the perfect place.... DEB!  Deb has really cute clothes for a very low price and I love going into the shop and looking around.  So without further ado... LET'S GO SHOPPING!

         A really great way to shop is first by going online and seeing if you like the clothes in the store, and then going to the actual store and buying the items.  That is what I did this week.  If you go on to debshops.com you will find everything they have in the store plus what they have online.  Everything is sorted out into categories so the first thing to look for is a top.  I found a nice, simple, black top for $7.99.  Then you just go to bottoms and click on skirts and it shows you all the skirts they have.  I found a super cute white shirt with black and yellow flowers on it for $10.99!  Then I went into the jewelry section and found necklace with different charms on it for $9.99.  For shoes, you could just wear a pair of black flats, heels, or even flip flops.  The total for this whole outfit is $28.97.  How awesome is that!!!!  You can mix and match what you wear the different pieces with which is also pretty cool.  Now you can say that you have an outfit just like Taylor Swift's but much more affordable.
